The extremely rare and highly collectable Clairtone Project G stereo, made in the 1960s right here in Canada! Fewer than 500 Project G stereos were made by Clairtone between 1964 to 1967, and how many of the originals are still out there is anyone’s guess. This top of the line stereo was originally $2000 retail when it was first produced in 1964.

Fortunately this one came to us mostly in tact, but it did require some extensive repairs. The Garrard turntable that is original to the Project G stereo was missing, so a vintage original in the same model was located and installed. The record player sounds awesome, and the radio is functioning as well. The adjustable directional speakers function well and look great with some minor scuffs and one ding that is not noticeable. The rosewood cabinet with tambour door is in great original vintage condition.

Overall this Clairtone looks and sounds amazing. A true space age style mid-century gem that was popular with many celebrities in the 1960s, and still holds it’s value today.
